- On Monday, Oct. 30, at 4:00 PM, the ESS Professional Lecture Series will present George Kronman from OXY Oil and Gas Co. Mr. Kronman will be talking about careers in the oil industry. Faculty, please advertise this in your classes. Students, please mention this to other students that you know might be interested in the oil industry. Hopefully we can have a good enough turnout so we can convince Mr. Kronman that Lamar students are serious about oil industry careers. Who knows, maybe we could even get some of you into Summer internships or full time jobs with OXY when you graduate.
